Getting There

Convenient for the A10 motorway 200km (125 miles) south of Paris, Le Glandier is 6km from the attractive town of Romorantin-Lanthenay and easy visiting distance of the Loire valley châteaux.

Peace and Quiet

Le Glandier, the nearest translation of which is 'acorn gatherer', is a former convent set in parkland gardens with ancient trees and spinneys, naturalised meadows and a small lake, where roe deer, red squirrels, pheasants and water fowl gambol, providing ideal conditions for relaxing strolls and quiet contemplation.

Created in the nineteenth century, Le Glandier was at first a farm where later a château was built, which, later still, served as an orphanage.

Conference Rooms

Le Glandier offers three separately accessed function rooms from 65 to 100 square metres (700 to 1076 square feet) equipped for seminars, training, receptions and any group activity.

Catering

In the light and airy restaurant you will enjoy home-cooked meals with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients.

Accomodation

Thirty spacious bedrooms, single and double, accommodate around fifty individuals.

All have wash-hand basins and WCs while some have showers. Shared showers are large and well equipped.
